Black Friday Haul!

Happy Wednesday!

So...during Thanksgiving break, I did a LITTLE bit of shopping. The day after turkey day is (in)famous for deals and steals--mainly limited supplies of electronics. I think the Microsoft Surface and Samsung TVs were the best deals out there!

Anyways...I did some hauls. Mainly online because after lining up quite a few years...I have come to terms that I will almost always never get the thing I want and people turn into animals at the stores.

EXPRESS

I am an Express girl. Their price tags [still] scare me though...I remember in Freshman year of Highschool, a friend took me there to look at jeans. They were really nice and REALLY pricey. I reluctantly asked my Uncle if I could buy one pair. Just one. $78 before tax. I cherished those jeans throughout Highschool. Man, they made my bottom look good!

I picked up a denim shirt, black leggings, two pairs of cropped jeans, and a jacket. My purchase was 50% off the subtotal. The denim shirt was something I wanted since summer, but I could not justify paying full price for it. It is really soft and comfy--a perfect lazy shirt!

The leggings was a surprise. I never believed in them because I have seen them worn wrong TOO often. (If I can see the print of your undies or lack of...there is a problem!) They are complete opaque and super comfortable. The grey jeans are also lazy pants. They fit like boyfriend jeans and are SO soft.

The white pair I bought to complete my cosplay outfit. My only pair of white jeans are low rise and they have a tendency to wiggle down during the day...haha. So the new pair is high wasited and actually a LOT more comfortable to wear.

I also bought their asymmetrical skort (a rip-off of Zara's) because I bought a black pair from Zara, but missed out of their other colors. (...still regretting to this day.) The fit is really different...and very uncomfortable. I returned it RIGHT away.

JOANN

On Saturday, I paid Joann Fabric a visit. They had a crazy sale for Fleece. 70% off AND you can use the 25% coupon for and added discount!!! I make plushies, so Fleece is my best friend. I also picked up filling and some cotton fabric for other crafts. I pretty much saved over 50% on my total purchase. YAY!

On Sunday, Joann had a couple of other coupons for discounts on regular priced items and a 50% sale on rotary cutting tools. I picked up a new rotary cutter because the one I have makes my hand hurt. I think I picked up some pattern weights too...

EM COSMETICS

EM Cosmestics had a CRAZY good sale. I have mentioned before how I do not like their premium pricing. Well, this sale totally made up for it because it was BOGO! I got to buy two lip sticks I have been eyeing and two life palettes without feeling guilty. I was a little sad that they ran out of the Love palette...super lovely and wearable colors.

ZOYA

Zoya had flash sales...kind of strange. I basically had to refresh or stay on Facebook and wait for coupon codes to come up. I ended up settling for a $5 off coupon. Lame, I know. It was not until a few days later they had a coupon for BOGO Dream sets. AUGH. I was so upset. I could have picked another whole set of polishes for FREE.

Anyways, I wanted the Zenith collection, but the Dream Boxes caught my eye too. So...as you can see I ended up with their Dream Box--Cheers to All-- and I also picked out Seraphina from the Zenith collection. I will have to do a whole other review on these polishes.

PEACE LOVE WORLD

Okay, I am ALMOST down.

I ordered from Peace Love World. Ugh. Their clothes are SO CUTE, but I cannot justify spending 100$ on a shirt that costs 5$. Thank goodness for their 35% off coupon. I bought a few shirts and hoodies for the Boy and my Brother and my Pup. Since my order was over 200$, I got free shipping (YES) and a free gym bag (FREE STUFF!!!). Haha, I am a sucker for extra goodies... Sigh.

So...I got a Dreamy shirt because it looked really cute. I picked up 2 Blessed hoodies, one for the Boy and one for me ('awwwwww'). Another 2 Blessed shirts (one for my Brother and one for me). I might have to go exchange/return mine because it was larger than I expected... I do not understand why though. My medium hoodie fits fine...whatever. And I got a little shirt for my Puppy!!! AH, HE LOOKS SO CUTE. I will have to post a picture of him sooner or later.

The free gym bag feels like something I would get at a promotion event...kind of disappointed. I will probably use it as a craft bag or when I travel.

Since I coupon now, I save hundreds in a year so I used that to justify a SMALL spending spree... Luckily I finished all of my Christmas shopping. However, I might have to lock my wallet away for a few months...

Did you go shopping on Black Friday? Cyber Monday? What was your BEST deal??? Let me know!

<3 Debbie
